Regarding cases where the obligations under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, etc., could not be fulfilled due to the "2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake"

The Immigration Services Agency has announced a special exception for cases in which foreign nationals were unable to fulfill their obligations under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, etc. due to the earthquake.
Under this exception, if it is deemed difficult to fulfill the obligations under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (see attached list) due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, the applicants will not be treated unfavorably for failure to fulfill said obligations if they fulfill said obligations by April 30, 2024.
